It is a chore to get on a full size truck, especially for shorter people like me, so there are various things to help out in the market. There are running board, step-side, u tube, and lot’s other choices, but the cheaper one is definitely the side step. The unit for Tundra Access Cab is around $270, which is not too much consider other prices, and there are other deals out there. The Westin is chosen because the availability, large distribution, lot’s models to chose from, cheaper, and the only company where I installed my bed spread, tonneau cover offers. Anyway, it’s easily stalled by the Bedlinersplus and everything is good.
Got Westin Side Step Tube Bolt on due to the unfortunate off-road instant that bent my last flat step. just over a small rock bent the step, so with this side step just need a couple screw each site, I can change to another one. Easy install. works great.
The look overall. It is installed both side.
Excellent:
Fast operations, don’t need to install additional bolt on kit because only 2 huge bolts are used on each side
very strong, and good surface & screw
black everything, fit the style of my truck
The bolts location are correct, even through additional location can be bolted, but it is unnecessary
Not so Excellent:
Price somewhat expensive comparison to low end side stop
The side is too narrowed
only a little are plastic
no chrome
a little more option will be better
